Job Summary HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Scheduler/Coordinator for our night shift and on-call services. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care in the comfort of their homes. As a Scheduler/Coordinator, you will oversee the scheduling of caregivers, manage client needs, and provide support to both clients and staff during night shifts. Your organizational skills and empathetic nature will directly impact the quality of care we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Scheduling: Efficiently schedule and coordinate caregiver assignments based on client needs, caregiver availability, and shift requirements.
  • * Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers and clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clear communication at all times.
  • * Client Support: Assess and understand client needs, preferences, and care requirements, ensuring appropriate caregiver matches.
  • * Crisis Management: Respond to emergency situations promptly and effectively, including last-minute caregiver cancellations or client emergencies.
  • * Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver assignments, client interactions, and service changes.
  • * Collaboration: Work closely with management and care teams to optimize scheduling processes and improve service delivery.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degree in healthcare or business administration is a plus.
  • * Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • * Proficient in using scheduling software and other office applications.
  • Experience
  • * Minimum of 2 years of experience in a scheduling or coordinator role, preferably in home care or healthcare.
  • * Familiarity with caregiver roles and the challenges faced in home care environments.
  • * Previous experience in a night shift or on-call position is highly desirable.
  • Working Hours
  • * Night shift schedule, with on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • * Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.

  • * In-depth knowledge of home care operations and best practices.
  • * Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
