Responsibilities

As a Personal Lines Insurance Agent, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing insurance quotes, making sales presentations, and closing sales to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing prompt, accurate, and friendly support as needed
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining a strong work ethic, with a total commitment to success each and every day
  • Developing new financial service opportunities with both existing and new clients
  • Selling, soliciting, servicing, and negotiating insurance plans based on the needs of your assigned or prospective customers' portfolio

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Property & Casualty (P&C) license or the willingness to obtain one
  • Prior experience in insurance, banking, or other related financial settings (2+ years preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • A proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
  • A motivated and determined attitude, with a passion for sales and customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Life & Health license
  • Sales experience (5+ years preferred)
  • Financial services experience
  • Prior experience as a teacher or educator
