Key Responsibilities

  • Bring your passion and strong product and brand knowledge to recommend upgrades to customers' health plans
  • Conduct research and make outbound calls to provide answers for customers regarding general healthcare benefit and eligibility questions, enrollment status requests for new and existing members
  • Assist members with logging into and understanding the functionality of their online health account, locating doctor and facility information
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience and are satisfied with the support they receive

What You Bring to the Role

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have:

  • 6 months or more of customer service experience
  • Integrity to follow HIPAA guidelines on maintaining patient privacy
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience and high-speed internet (> 15 mbps)
  • A USB wired headset (or a compatible alternative)
  • A smartphone or another device that runs IOS or Android (iPad, etc.) for your daily log-in

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

In addition to the above requirements, it is preferred that you have:

  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of health plans and benefits
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
