Healthcare Business Analyst | 100% Remote | W2 Only (No C2C / No Visa)

Overview: Our client, a mutual benefit corporation and health plan provider, seeks an accomplished Healthcare Business Analyst.

• Work Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Pacific Time.

Description:

• Business Analyst for 1 or multiple HQA projects depending on the need. To start with assignment will be with the Advanced Imaging for Site of Care project.
• The main function of the Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Gathers requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Reports to the PMO PM. Works closely with the Business Owner, Driver, SMEs. Partners with IT teams and vendors.
• Elicit and document requirements.
• Document process (to-be and future-state).
• Test planning and support.
• Gather necessary detail for the business plan, business case/investment summary, and measurement plan.
• Additional analytical support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years business analysis experience required.
• Experience in healthcare is required.
• Requirements & process gathering & documenting.
• Jira expertise.
• Supporting the business plan, business case, financials, measurement plan.
• Test planning and support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior company experience is a plus.
• Agile & Six Sigma (preferred).
• Ability to understand and solve technical processes, problems.
• Project planning & Management experience.
• Data analysis/Reporting.
