The Role

As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer support to our clients and their customers via live chat. You'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your role will be to provide quick, accurate, and friendly assistance to resolve their queries and concerns. You'll be working from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to manage your schedule and work at your own pace.

Responsibilities

As an Online Chat Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
  • Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
  • The ability to compose professional emails is a plus
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills, including the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications
  • An upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality
