[Remote] Sales Tax Associate

Gable Tax Consulting Group, Inc. is a woman-owned business headquartered in Pasadena, CA, specializing in Sales and Use Tax consulting for Fortune 500 companies. They are seeking a self-motivated and organized Entry-Level Sales Tax Associate to assist with the preparation of tax returns, journal entries, and tax research.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare monthly Sales and Use Tax returns
- Serve as a key point of contact and provide expertise and excellent client service to Fortune 500 companies
- Complete journal entries, online tax payment processing and business registrations for clients
- Process and review data efficiently and accurately
- Conduct tax research and analyze tax rates and geographic codes
Skills
- 0-1 years' professional experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently, be disciplined and self-directed in a 100% remote work environment
- Highly organized and able to multitask
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
