University, Cloud Administrator
Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a University, Cloud Administrator to implement innovative cloud computing solutions for government clients. The role involves engineering and operating advanced cloud computing infrastructure, troubleshooting complex system solutions, and building monitoring capabilities for operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative cloud computing solutions and help the company solve complex technical problems in support of government clients
- Engineer and operate the company’s advanced cloud computing infrastructure to grow our business
- Build a secure and complex platform addressing many compliance requirements for the clients
- Troubleshoot complex system solutions and understand customer issues
- Identify root causes and dive deep to troubleshoot and fix issues
- Build monitoring capabilities to investigate anomalies in metrics in a timely manner
Skills
- 1+ years of experience with AWS or Azure, leveraging multiple services and building complex solutions
- 1+ years of experience with Python
- Experience with multiple AWS or Azure services, Git, and IT systems engineering or administration, including Linux and Windows
- Experience implementing automation and IaC practices to streamline deployments, provisioning, and configuration management
- Experience evaluating and recommending cloud services, tools, and technologies to improve efficiency and enhance system capabilities
- Knowledge of multi-account or multi-tenant architecture
- Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor's degree by Summer 2026
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience writing in IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with NIST standards
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experience with Agile or Scrum frameworks and practices
- Knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
- Certified AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Certified AWS Security, or Advanced Networking Specialty Certification
