[Remote] Financial Customer Service Professional - April 2026

They are seeking a Financial Customer Service Professional to provide support for retirement plans and ensure excellent customer service without sales pressure.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party specialists
- Provide excellent service for customers' retirement savings accounts within the call center
- Educate and empower customers without making cold calls or sales
- Communicate critical plan updates and changes effectively
- Process contribution changes, loans, withdrawals, and general account changes as directed by customers
Skills
- Availability to work a 40-hour work week outside of traditional business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
- Associate degree or higher AND at least one year of customer service experience OR two or more years of customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and apply financial industry policies and procedures
- Capability to adapt communication style while servicing a diverse customer base
- Passion for providing quality customer service
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Previous financial services or call center experience
- Desire to engage with customers over the phone
- Ability to handle various customer inquiries with professionalism
- Experience in adapting communication styles to meet customer needs
