Developer needed to connect Flex Rental Solutions inventory with a Squarespace website

I’m looking for a developer to help integrate an inventory management platform called Flex Rental Solutions with a Squarespace website. The client rents musical equipment. They already manage and update their inventory inside Flex Rental Solutions, and the goal is for those updates to automatically reflect on their Squarespace website. On the website, visitors should be able to:

• View available rental items pulled from Flex
• Select multiple items
• Submit a quote request with a list of the selected items

This does NOT need to be a full e-commerce checkout. It’s more like a smart quote request system. At a high level, the project involves:

• Connecting Flex Rental Solutions to a Squarespace site (likely via API or another supported method)
• Displaying inventory items dynamically on the site
• Creating a simple “add to quote” or “request quote” flow
• Sending the selected items to the client by email or form submission

I don’t need everything fully scoped yet. I’m mainly looking for someone who:

• Has experience with APIs or third-party integrations
• Understands the limitations of Squarespace and how to work around them
• Can explain technical options clearly to a non-technical client
• Can help define the best approach before building
