Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Database Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets, developing and implementing data-driven solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Developing and implementing data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes and drive growth
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Providing data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Developing and maintaining databases, data warehouses, and data management systems
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and security
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve business outcomes and drive growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
- Provide data analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
- Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data management systems
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data management systems and solutions
- Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in database analysis and administration
- Strong understanding of database concepts, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data mining
- Experience with SQL, including SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle
- Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data governance policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with data integration tools, including Informatica and Talend
- Experience with data quality and data validation tools
- Experience with data security and data encryption
- Experience with data governance frameworks, including GDPR and HIPAA
- Experience with data visualization tools, including QlikView and Sisense
- Experience with programming languages, including Python, Java, and C#
