[Remote] Finance Coordinator

The Finance Coordinator will support the Operations Department by managing payroll, benefits administration, and accounts payable, ensuring efficient operations and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain employee information in the payroll system, ensuring all required information and documentation are accurate
  • Work with third party accountants to maintain integrations between payroll and general ledger systems
  • Remind staff to submit hours and ensure supervisors review timecards in a timely manner
  • Review timecard coding and support department leads as needed
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports for approval
  • Enter and update PTO for designated employees as needed
  • Triage and respond to notices within the payroll system and escalate as necessary
  • Set up and maintain BILL accounts for employee reimbursements
  • Manage employee and accounts payable processes and verify internal controls on outgoing payments
  • Responsible for entering invoices into the accounts payable system accurately
  • Review and code transactions, attach receipts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for billing questions from external vendors
  • Track and process benefits invoices in a timely manner
  • Ensure that policies are accurately reflected and updated in our systems
  • Ensure employee enrollment data is accurate across 401k, health, vision, dental, FSA, and other benefits
  • Escalate benefits queries to leadership as necessary
  • Assist with general finance administrative tasks as needed
  • Support the Operations team in organizing and executing initiatives and projects
  • Help to maintain our systems and ensure data integrity
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet expected deadlines
  • Maintain high standard of work in a nimble, fast paced environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
