Job Summary
We're seeking an Experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, data sets, and analytics solutions that support our business. You'll work closely with our Data Science team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data sets, and analytics solutions that support our business
- Collaborate with our Data Science team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement data solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines, data approval processes, and data set design strategies
- Create and maintain data sets, data tables, and data views to support business analytics and decision-making
- Deliver datasets as input to science models and visualizations
- Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to support data processing and analytics
- Collaborate with our DevOps team to develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Experience with source control using GitLab or GitHub
- Experience with data set design and data governance
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies
- Proficiency in cloud design and product development, ideally with AWS
- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools
- Experience with machine learning and data science frameworks
- Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
