Weston & Sampson is a 100% employee-owned environmental and infrastructure consulting firm seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer. In this role, you will conduct field investigations, perform geotechnical analysis, and assist in the preparation of reports while collaborating with project teams to develop engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field Investigations and soil sampling
- Perform geotechnical analysis and testing
- Assist in the preparation of geotechnical reports and proposals
- Collaborate with project teams to develop engineering solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Participate in construction observations and monitoring
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with concentration in geotechnical engineering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in geotechnical software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in ACAD drafting software
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Master's degree in geotechnical engineering
