Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer 1
Westinghouse Electric Company is focused on providing clean energy solutions and values diversity in the workplace. They are seeking an entry level Probabilistic Risk Assessment Engineer to perform assessments for nuclear power plant systems and evaluate potential vulnerabilities to various risks.
Responsibilities
- Assess domestic and international operating plants, and new reactors in design phase
- Review plant operating procedures, system/layout documents like piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and cable routes to understand plant systems and operation
- Database management and data analysis tasks using a variety of tools
- Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies
- Partner w/ global project teams contributing to technical scope, execution, meetings and financial goals
Skills
- 0+ years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Nuclear
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Desire to earn Professional Engineer in Training (EIT) license
- 10% travel availability to domestic or international customer sites
