Software Engineering Intern
GPTZero is on a mission to restore trust and transparency on the internet as the leading AI detection platform. The Software Engineering Intern will build the next-gen platform to verify the origin, quality, and factuality of information, collaborating closely with ML and design teams to create impactful software.
Responsibilities
- Build and deploy high-impact, intuitive, AI-driven web apps in React, Node, and Tailwind
- Develop top-requested features from our users on our dashboard, chrome extensions, and API
- Utilize product analytics to make data-driven product decisions
- Collaborate with our ML, design, and business teams to develop new product initiatives
- Wear multiple hats and work across the product stack
Skills
- Comfortable building end-to-end experiences from backend to CSS
- +2 years of experience with modern web frameworks (Express, Next.js, Typescript, and React)
- +1 years of experience with databases (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS)
- Highly motivated to make positive societal impact
- Work with 5 hours of overlap with Eastern Standard Time
- Strong open-source portfolio
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment
- Experience as a peer-edited writer
