[Remote] Software Engineer Intern (TikTok-Product Infrastructure-Customer Service Platform) - 2026 Summer(BS/MS)

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking talented individuals for an internship in their Customer Service Platform team. The role involves front-end development, understanding business requirements, and optimizing development models to enhance user experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for front-end development of the TikTok customer service platform, including but not limited to page interactions, data visualization, and customer service systems
• Understand business requirements, capable of tackling technical challenges, and possess certain technical planning and architectural design capabilities
• Explore and optimize the development models and process standards of the team to help improve development efficiency and code quality

Skills

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during the Summer of 2026
• Solid foundation in computer science, proficient in at least one front-end framework (React/Vue), with an understanding of the design philosophy behind the framework
• Understand front-end engineering concepts, capable of designing robust system modules and components, with a strong sense of code structure and standardization
• Graduating December 2026 onwards with the intent to return to degree program after the completion of the internship
• Familiarity with Node.js, knowledge of frameworks such as Express/Koa, and prior experience in server-side application development is preferred
• Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of actively working with product and design teams to better understand and meet user requirements
