Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct administrative and scripted clinical intake of calls for clinical review, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of information
  • Provide top-notch customer service through interactions with providers, administrative staff, and others, fostering strong relationships and trust
  • Build and maintain customer satisfaction with products and services, delivering excellent support to internal and external customers
  • Collect and enter confidential information with the highest level of confidentiality, adhering to HIPAA and other regulatory standards
  • Maintain high-quality documentation standards, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all data entry functions
  • Offer ongoing telephonic support to providers and office staff related to arenaflex's Clinical Review process, addressing questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide administrative support to the Clinical Review Department as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities
  • Participate in ongoing Quality Initiative Projects, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and services
  • Maintain acceptable levels of performance for all Key Performance Indicators, such as Average Talk Time (ATT), Quality, and adherence to schedule
  • Adhere to all HIPAA, state, and federal regulations, as well as URAC & NCQA standards, ensuring compliance with arenaflex's initiatives

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Ability to hard line internet into computer equipment provided, with a minimum internet upload speed of 5 mbps and download of 25 mbps
  • HIPAA compliant room required, verified at onboarding
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to read clinical terminology with high levels of proficiency
  • MS Outlook and Windows proficiency, with the ability to work on dual monitors and navigate multiple software applications simultaneously
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to adhere to strict schedules and adapt to changes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry, such as prior authorizations, patient care, CPT codes, etc.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high call volume, performance-driven Contact Center
  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment, with minimal supervision
