  • Sorting and organizing paperwork (both electronic and hard copy) following data entry, to maintain a high level of organization and efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
  • Prior work experience in data entry, preferably in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office, although this is not essential.
  • Typing proficiency, with a preferred level of at least 45 words per minute (wpm) and a high level of accuracy, with no errors.
  • Some understanding of the internal processes of medical facilities and med-legal terminology, although training will be provided to support your development.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications and experience are preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a medical, legal, or insurance claims office, with a strong understanding of the industry and its terminology.
  • Advanced typing skills, with a speed of 60 wpm or higher, and a high level of accuracy.
  • Experience with billing software, such as Timeslips, and a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices.
