This role supports the operations and servicing of long/short separately managed account strategies, partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and delivery. The specialist will provide operational and service support to advisors and clients, while contributing to communications and presentations that drive awareness and adoption of these advanced investment solutions. In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $100,000.00, exclusive of bonuses and benefits. This role is also eligible for our corporate bonus. Primary Job Functions Support Advisor Teams by delivering exceptional investment services

  • Work closely with our Advisor teams, serving as an expert on WEG long short SMA operations, providing guidance, assistance, and recommendations.
  • Assist advisors in implementing customized SMA solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Collaborate with Investment Strategy and other internal teams to develop materials and resources that enhance advisor engagement.
  • Participate in the creation of presentations for end clients who are looking to participate in Long Short SMA investing

Collaborate with internal and external partners to help implement long short SMA’s

  • Work closely with custodians, managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely execution of SMA strategies.
  • Partner with senior team members to support portfolio implementation and respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Ensure proper setup and integration within systems to maintain operational integrity.
  • Coordinate with third-party managers to facilitate onboarding and servicing of SMA accounts

Drive process improvements and operational efficiency

  • As an subject matter on the broad range of WEG’s advanced investment platform, seek ways to partner and leverage evolving technologies to increase the efficiency of investment operations.
  • Partner with business optimization teams on initiatives that improve scalability and reduce operational complexity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to refine processes and leverage technology for greater efficiency.
  • Develop creative solutions that reduce administrative burden and encourage adoption of advanced investment solutions.

Education/Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance or economics, or related
  • 3 years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on investment operations
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment operations
  • Proven written and verbal (presentation) communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization and clients
  • Ability to create quality written presentations and articles for Advisor and client consumption
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state, pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified as the Career level is $79,200.00 to $110,900.00. However, the base salary range bolded above is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
