Resident (Law Clerk) / Associate
Modern Family Law (MFL) is a rapidly expanding national law firm specializing in Family Law, seeking 3Ls and recent graduates for their Residency Program. This role offers training in substantive family law and courtroom advocacy, with mentorship aimed at transitioning into an Associate Attorney position after passing the Bar exam.
Responsibilities

- Be eager to learn, grow, practice, and incorporate feedback
- Complete training and develop skills in client conversion
- Proactively study, build confidence, ask questions, complete assignments, and prepare to handle client matters from start to finish upon completion of Residency
Skills
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
- Register for the upcoming July or February Bar exam
- Attain a passing score on the MPRE before sitting for the Bar exam
- Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar
- Submission of cover letter, law school transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire
- Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus
- Mock Trial experience is a plus
