[Remote] Project Review Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Novus Home Mortgage is seeking a Project Review Specialist to ensure projects comply with guidelines from secondary market investors. The role involves analyzing project documents, determining eligibility, and maintaining compliance and quality control throughout the loan process.

Responsibilities

• Documentation analysis: Review and analyze a variety of project documents, such as HOA questionnaires, budgets, balance sheets, financial statements, reserve studies, engineer reports, master insurance policies, appraisals, project legal documents, litigation claims
• Eligibility determination: Evaluate projects for compliance with guidelines from secondary market investors like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA to determine if they are "warrantable" or "non-warrantable"
• Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams to gather additional information and resolve discrepancies
• Compliance and quality control: Ensure projects meet all required guidelines and service-level standards, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance throughout the loan process
