HRP Associate: Product Development
Henkel is an organization focused on innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, recognized for its trusted brands like Persil® and Loctite®. The HRP Associate in Product Development will work within the Adhesive Technologies business unit, engaging in lab-based development projects to advance adhesive bonding and surface science for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- As part of a product development team, you will work in adhesive bonding and surface science to meet the needs of both internal and external customers through lab-based development projects and activities
- You will spend approximately 8 months in each rotation where you will develop a deep understanding of multiple adhesive chemistries, applications, and markets specific to your business unit as well as an overall knowledge of our product portfolios
- In each rotation, in addition to developing and formulating adhesives for specific applications, you will have the opportunity to learn about your own skills and to grow personally through the wide range of courses made available to each associate
Skills
- Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Material Science is required
- Available for full-time employment in July 2026
- Position does not offer immigration sponsorship or support
- Knowledge of structure-property relationship of materials, experience with polymers and surface science, and a background in organic chemistry are preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration within teams in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace (previous internship/co-op experience is preferred)
- Digital literacy and experience with data analysis tools, project management software and MS Office to manage tasks and communicate with others
