As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, including employees, customers, and other departments, to collect and manage critical data that drives business decisions.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Gathering and collecting information from various sources, including invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and other relevant materials from employees, other departments, and clients.
  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent details and ensure accuracy.
  • Correcting errors and organizing the information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing.
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering/updating information into relevant databases.
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored securely.
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered and taking corrective action.
  • Storing hard copies of data in an organized manner to facilitate easy retrieval.
  • Handling additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • Proficient touch-typing skills, with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Experience with data management software, such as CRM systems or database management tools.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based storage solutions, such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment.
