Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Scientist to join our Clinical Research and Evidence Generation team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and executing robust, reproducible statistical analyses to inform business decisions and drive growth. You'll work closely with our Clinical Trials colleagues to develop and implement innovative data science solutions that address complex business questions.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and execute complex statistical analyses to inform business decisions and drive growth

• Collaborate with Clinical Trials colleagues to develop and implement innovative data science solutions that address complex business questions
• Develop and maintain high-quality, actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive growth
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth

Essential Capabilities

* Experience in designing and executing robust, reproducible statistical analyses in the context of clinical research and observational studies

• Strong understanding of normal statistical testing methods, including generalized linear models, clustering and classification, decision trees, unsupervised learning, time series analysis, and survival analysis
• Experience handling large datasets from various sources, including electronic health records, disease registries, and claims data
• Experience working with protected patient health information and maintaining confidentiality
• Strong understanding of at least one Business Intelligence (BI) tool, such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Spotfire, or other BI insight tools

Preferred Capabilities

* PhD, Graduate degree in statistics/biostatistics, software engineering, mathematics, systems engineering, biomedical engineering, or related field

• Experience with EMR/Health IT, disease registries, and claims data sets
• Strong understanding of clinical data standards, clinical terminology, and controlled vocabularies used in healthcare data and ontologies (ICD9/10/ReadCode)
• Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance rules for real-world evidence studies or clinical trials (e.g., ISO, MDD/MDR, CFR)
• Experience working with alternative data sources and alternative methods for clinical data collection, particularly those enabled by technology platforms and solutions
• Experience with exploratory design, Bayesian modeling, sequential data, computational statistics
• Strong understanding of machine learning and AI techniques, with the ability to continue self-learning of technical and non-technical skills
