Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and innovation. You'll work closely with our leadership team to develop and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
- 30% Execute existing reporting and analytical tasks, including data visualization, reporting, and dashboard development
- 20% Use data analysis tools to create new dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc requests
- 20% Ensure the quality of work output by demonstrating a keen attention to detail
- 20% Develop additional technical skills and domain expertise within the core functional team
- 10% Present findings in easily understood ways, focusing on how the data analysis fits into the overall plan
Direct Supervisor/Direct Reports
This position reports to a Director and has no immediate reports.
Travel Requirements
Normally requires less than 10% of the time for temporary travel.
Physical Requirements
Mostly spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. Occasionally, there may be a need to move or lift light objects.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be rare and not surprising.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as software engineering, mathematics, computer science, or economics
- 3 years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, data visualization, or related fields
- Strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, data visualization software, and statistical programming languages
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Work experience with SQL Server, Teradata, or similar data set frameworks
- Previous experience with data mining, statistical analysis, data visualization, or related fields
- Strong understanding of data visualization tools and techniques, including Tableau, Power BI, or similar software
- Experience with data storytelling and presenting complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
