This contract position will play a critical role in reviewing and entering data for electronic evidence management, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory policies.

Job Summary:

As a PC Hardware Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for reviewing and entering data for electronic evidence management, maintaining the chain of custody of electronic devices, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory policies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain the chain of custody of electronic devices received from employees internally or through the mail, ensuring that all devices are properly logged and tracked.

  • Review digital evidence stored on hard drives and ensure that the data matches the inventory log, verifying that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare Excel documents following a specific template to upload to our web-based evidence management system, ensuring that all data is correctly formatted and uploaded.
  • Review data entered into the web-based evidence system to ensure that the upload of data is correct, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Verify that the documentation and electronic devices match what is being reported and what is received, ensuring that all information is accurate and consistent.
  • Input high volumes of data from documentation received, such as employee names and identifiers, by handwriting and into a computer application used for tracking purposes.
  • Maintain awareness and follow data handling, safety, and security policy and procedures, ensuring that all electronic devices and data are handled and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Experience:

* The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, with a strong understanding of computer hardware, particularly plug-in/plug-out hard drives.

  • Strong Excel skills and previous data entry experience are required, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a high-volume data entry environment.
  • A basic understanding of data privacy is essential, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
