Job Overview

In this full remote role, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, providing support to blithequark customers with their tax-related inquiries and software navigation. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the friendly face our customers rely on during tax season, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring that they have a positive experience with our products. Your primary responsibilities will include answering customer questions, resolving issues, and providing guidance on our tax preparation software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and effective solutions to their tax-related questions and software navigation issues
  • Assist customers with downloading, logging in, getting started with basic navigation, importing documents, printing, and filing, as well as answering basic tax questions
  • Utilize your knowledge of blithequark products and tax preparation software to provide accurate and helpful information to customers
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Marketplace Performance Specialists (MPS) to ensure that customers receive the best possible support
  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing empathetic and personalized support to ensure their needs are met
  • Continuously update your knowledge and skills to stay current with blithequark products and services, as well as industry trends and developments

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate solutions clearly and empathetically. You will also need to be proficient in the following areas:

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Ability to understand and empathize with customer needs, driving innovation and providing top-notch service
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with software applications, including tax preparation software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While prior experience in customer service or a related field is not required, it is preferred. Additionally, the following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively
  • Knowledge of tax preparation software and principles, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Certification or training in customer service, sales, or a related field
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with fluency in English required
