As a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of clients and provide top-notch service to their customers. You'll be responsible for conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls, creatively problem-solving, and providing sound solutions to customer needs. You'll also be expected to document details of all calls and customer interactions, and manage through multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

As a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting inbound and outbound customer service calls with customers
  • Creatively problem-solving and providing sound solutions to customer needs
  • Quickly assessing customer needs and providing high-level customer service
  • Documenting details of all calls and customer interactions
  • Managing through multiple systems, programs, and screens simultaneously

Essential Qualifications

To be successful as a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, you'll need to have:
  • Experience handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems
  • Basic typing skills
  • Strong customer service and written skills
  • Comfortable empathizing and remaining patient with difficult callers

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Experience with multiple software systems and programs
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards

Earning Potential

As a self-employed 1099 independent contractor with blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to earn a competitive income based on your performance and the number of calls you complete. You'll be responsible for submitting invoices and receiving payment for completed services, and you'll have the flexibility to choose when and how often you work.

Application and Certification Process

To become a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, you'll need to complete the following steps:
  • Complete an application to join blithequark Nation, which includes passing a background/credit check
  • Pay a $45 processing fee directly to our vendor
  • Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement
  • Complete a W9 form
  • Opportunities that you choose may have additional requirements, including certification specific to a program

Program Metrics Requirements

Some programs may require virtual customer service representatives to provide services above posted minimum standards to maintain eligibility. These requirements will be outlined in the program details and will be communicated to you prior to starting work.

Availability

As a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, you'll have the flexibility to choose your own schedule and work at your own pace. You'll be able to self-schedule in 30-minute blocks, and you'll have the opportunity to dictate when and how often you commit to servicing our clients.

Technology Needed for Success

To be successful as a virtual customer service representative with blithequark, you'll need to have:
  • A computer with internet access
  • A headset or other audio equipment
  • A quiet and distraction-free workspace
Please note that several clients will require additional security measures and technology equipment, and blithequark systems are not currently compatible with Mac or Chromebook.
