Prompt Engineer / Digital Marketing Analyst

This hybrid role blends AI prompt engineering, persona refinement, data analysis, and digital marketing expertise. Role / Responsibilities AI Prompt Engineering & Chatbot Optimization

  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert on AI-powered chat, large language models, and prompt engineering best practices.
  • Develop, test, and refine prompts, system instructions, and conversational flows for client-facing chatbots.
  • Analyze chatbot transcripts, search intents, failure points, and user satisfaction trends to continuously improve performance.
  • Create and maintain detailed chatbot personas aligned with brand voice, regulatory constraints, and customer journey needs.
  • Collaborate with UX, development, and marketing teams to evolve AI features that support conversions, customer support, and product discovery.
  • Ensure chatbot responses are accurate, compliant, human-sounding, and optimized for clarity.

Digital Marketing Analytics & Reporting

  • Support ongoing updates to digital marketing dashboards using Looker Studio or similar BI platforms.
  • Analyze data across SEO, SEM, paid social, display, email, and website performance to uncover trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Present findings and actionable insights to clients in a clear, professional, narrative-driven format.
  • Work closely with campaign strategists to ensure alignment between chatbot analytics and overall digital marketing KPIs.
  • Contribute to forecasting, benchmarking, and performance modeling.

Search, SEO/SEM, and Audience Insights

  • Identify themes and intent patterns emerging from AI search, chatbot logs, and organic/paid search data.
  • Provide recommendations that improve visibility, conversion paths, and content strategy.
  • Assist with keyword strategy, content optimization, and SEO/SEM reporting.

Content, Persona, and Experience Support

  • Translate analytical insights into conversational updates, new prompts, FAQ refinements, and stronger customer journeys.
  • Support copy development as needed for chatbot training data, landing pages, microsites, and digital campaigns.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming for clients and prospects on how AI can enhance digital experiences.

Client Collaboration & Innovation

  • Participate in client presentations, reporting discussions, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Offer emerging insights on AI, zero-click search, generative engine optimization (GEO), and evolving digital behavior.
  • Help identify new AI-driven business opportunities and contribute to new business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree from an accredited university.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, AI, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM tools, chatbot platforms, or conversational design preferred.
  • Understanding of SEO, SEM, paid media fundamentals, and web analytics (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable interpreting complex data and turning it into insights.
  • Excellent writing skills, able to craft clear, concise prompts and articulate findings effectively.
  • Creative mindset with curiosity for how people interact with AI and digital experiences.
  • Strong command of English, including grammar, tone, and brand voice adaptation.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Looker Studio or similar data visualization tools is required.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about emerging AI technologies.
