Job Description: Atlassian is seeking a Principal Strategy and Business Operations who will partner directly with leaders in our Enterprise Foundations organization. At Atlassian, the Strategy & Business Operations team is a high impact team that works closely with business leaders across the company. Our team takes a lead role in driving strategy, growth, and business operations. You’ll own projects from inception to execution and delivery, ensuring that the strategies you develop are creative and offer high-quality and impactful recommendations to business partners. In this role, you'll get to:

• Partner directly with product, go-to-market, analytics and finance teams to help prioritize product roadmaps, deliver strategic recommendations and analyses, and develop product strategies that drive growth for the business
• Drive strategic and data-driven decision-making and help inform business decisions through financial & analytical modeling, research and insights
• Define appropriate goals/OKRs to track progress against strategic objectives
• Keep a tight pulse on business performance and reporting, including "quarterbacking" a cross-functional team to diagnose problems when they occur

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• Have 10+ years experience in high growth software / tech industry in BizOps and / or consulting, investment banking roles
• Contribute to executive level decision making, including articulately presenting and debating recommendations
• Be a self-starter and drive work from idea to analysis, recommendation and, at times, to implementation
• Enjoy working with numbers and both understand the details and see / communicate the bigger picture
• Break down complex problems and take a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and bring a structured approach to decision-making
• Proficiency in financial modelling and building revenue and cost drivers
• Be intellectually curious and genuinely excited about technology

It's great, but not required of you to have:

• Industry experience in SaaS or platform business models
• Experience using SQL for analysis
• Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau)

Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: $180,000 - $235,000 Zone B: $162,000 - $211,500 Zone C: $149,400 - $195,050 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
