Strategic Planning Analyst (Contract Role)
Summary
Crunchyroll is seeking a Strategic Planning Analyst for a contract role within the Office of the COO. This position involves managing headcount planning, tracking budgets, and supporting financial operations. The analyst will work closely with Finance, People, and Marketing leadership, focusing on data accuracy, budget reconciliation, and ad hoc financial analysis to provide clear visibility into hiring and spending. Must Have
- Track and manage headcount, open roles, and hiring activity
- Work with People Services to keep data accurate and up to date
- Provide clear visibility into active roles and the hiring pipeline
- Reconcile budgets weekly and track spend across cost centers
- Partner with team leads to validate entries and flag discrepancies
- Report on actuals, build pivot tables, and support ad hoc analysis
- Handle light accounting tasks tied to chargebacks and fund allocations
- Respond to data requests with accurate, timely reporting
- 2+ years of experience in financial operations, business planning, workforce management, and/or related disciplines
- Advanced Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to work well across teams and communicate effectively at all levels
Good To Have
- Familiarity with workforce and finance tools like Greenhouse, Workday, or SmartSheets
- Experience preferred within media, tech, or entertainment industries

- 2+ years of experience in financial operations, business planning, workforce management, and/or related disciplines (preferred within media, tech, or entertainment industries)
