Position Overview Want to help build a transparent and trusted market for the clean energy transition? REsurety is looking for a driven Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you’ll work directly with our Chief Compliance Officer to safeguard the integrity of our regulated trading platform, Clean Trade. You’ll be on the front lines, helping us adhere to CFTC regulations by investigating trades, vetting new partners, managing regulatory reporting, and even helping write the rulebook for our marketplace. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance investigations into potential rule violations, documenting findings and escalating as necessary.
  • Conduct trade surveillance to detect market manipulation, disruptive practices, or other risks.
  • Perform KYC and OFAC screening for new and existing participants to meet regulatory standards.
  • Assist with regulatory filings, including CFTC self‑certifications and safeguards reports.
  • Respond to inquiries from regulators and legal counsel with timely, accurate communication.
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with CFTC requirements.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of compliance, legal, or regulatory experience at a regulated marketplace.
  • Knowledge of CFTC regulations and market conduct standards.
  • Experience conducting regulatory and compliance due diligence assessments.
  • Understanding of derivatives products (swaps, futures, options).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a regulated marketplace (e.g., SEF, DCM, exchange) or broker‑dealer.
  • Familiarity with energy and power market structures, including renewable hedging instruments.
  • Prior involvement in compliance operations, such as onboarding and reporting.
  • Experience using compliance monitoring tools, surveillance platforms, or reporting systems.

  • Our organization works on a hybrid model. We are in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at our downtown Boston building, remote work is optional on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base compensation range for this position is $61,200 to $93,150. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This range does not include annual bonus, equity‑based incentives, and benefits.
