Experienced Data Entry Technician – Customs Brokerage Team (Remote)

This exciting remote opportunity offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with a schedule of 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8AM-5PM.

As a Data Entry Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our Customs Brokerage team, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, and providing top-notch customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely data entry into our operating system, with a focus on high accuracy rates and efficient workflow execution
• Understanding and identifying customs documentation, including transposing customs declaration information from documents into the customs entry system to build a valid customs declaration
• Verifying documents received for Import customs purposes are compliant and correct, with a focus on ensuring compliance with regulations at all times
• Providing exceptional customer service, building and maintaining strong relationships both internally and externally, and responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Daily execution of workflow and department metrics, with a focus on meeting or exceeding performance targets

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, logistics, or supply chain management
• Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, and communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient computer skills, including solid data entry, email, internet, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• A growth mindset, with a desire to learn and develop your skills in the supply chain and logistics industry
• A strong desire for a career in supply chain and logistics, with a willingness to learn and grow with blithequark

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

• Previous experience in a customs brokerage or logistics environment
• Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures
• Experience with customs entry systems and software
• Certification in supply chain management or logistics
