Responsibilities

As an Experienced Remote Online Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary.
  • Building relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs.
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately.
  • Promoting interest in client products and services through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position, including response times, resolution rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image through all interactions.
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team as needed.
  • Assisting with overflow work and other duties as required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online environment.
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to different personalities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with online chat platforms and software.
  • Familiarity with blithequark's products and services.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
