About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with our business stakeholders, application owners, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software that exceeds our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software solutions using Java and Java-based technologies

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements and technical needs
• Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets our coding standards and best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure that our codebase is maintainable, efficient, and scalable
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Work with our DevOps team to ensure that our software is deployed and monitored effectively
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry and apply that knowledge to improve our software and processes

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems
• Strong understanding of Java and Java-based technologies, including Spring, REST, and multi-threading
• Experience with database design and data access technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, including AWS or Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices, including secure coding and threat modeling
• Experience with cloud-based security tools and technologies
