About the Role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our members, addressing their inquiries, and scheduling in-home visits with healthcare professionals. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our members receive the care and attention they deserve. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed. We offer the flexibility to work remotely, provided you are located within the EST or CST time zones, and have a dedicated workspace that meets our security and privacy requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Initiate outbound calls to members to schedule in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners
  • Respond to inbound calls from members, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Ensure accurate scheduling of appointments and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise
  • Work efficiently and productively in a high-volume customer service environment, meeting performance metrics and delivering exceptional results
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements, ensuring the security and privacy of sensitive member information

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
  • At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm local time, with flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to type and talk simultaneously while navigating multiple screens

Preferred qualifications include experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicaid or Medicare, as well as experience in customer retention-focused roles.

  • Reside within the EST or CST time zones
  • Have a dedicated workspace that is secure, private, and free from distractions
  • Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection that meets our technical requirements
  • Be able to connect directly to the internet via a hardwired connection

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour, based on full-time employment.
