Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time Database Researcher & Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our proprietary "Rides in Sight" database of transportation options and providing exceptional customer service to seniors seeking information about local transportation options. Responsibilities
As a part-time Database Researcher & Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering telephone calls from older adults on blithequark's Rides in Sight hotline, helping connect them with the best transportation options to meet their needs
- Maintaining the Rides in Sight database by performing internet research and database maintenance
- Accepting other related duties and tasks as required
- Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and support
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with seniors and other stakeholders
- Comfortable speaking over the telephone and a positive and professional telephone etiquette
- Highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time
- Collaborative work style, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Nonprofit experience preferred but not required
