Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including data entry, filing, and report preparation. Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing data entry and filing tasks for accounts payable, purchase orders, equipment inventory, and confidential employee or departmental files
  • Copying, collating, and preparing reports for mailings, meetings, and other correspondence
  • Performing other related duties as assigned
  • Working independently to identify and solve problems
  • Organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • The ability to type at least 50 wpm
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Basic understanding of office equipment and clerical procedures
  • Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Previous experience in data entry or a related field
  • Knowledge of database management systems
  • Familiarity with cloud-based software and applications
  • Certification in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
