The Role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer - Virtual & Simulation Testing, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, function, and reliability. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement virtual platforms that simulate real-world scenarios, allowing us to test and verify our solutions with a high degree of fidelity.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop, implement, and simulate virtual platforms to validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software

  • Virtually ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service and support prior to delivery
  • Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products
  • Communicate quality standards and parameters to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams
  • Coordinate simulations and testing processes
  • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur in multiple products; recommend and facilitate solutions to these issues
  • Connect with internal customers (Operations, RME, ACES, PE, OpsEng, WWDE, etc.) to review client, customer, and user feedback
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (BS)

  • 5+ years proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams with modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domain expertise
  • Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management
  • Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
