Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience through:

  • Inbound and outbound calls: You'll be the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Application data entry: You'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer data into our systems.
  • Online chat inquiries: You'll be available to respond to customer inquiries via online chat, providing timely and helpful support.
  • Creative problem-solving: You'll be expected to think critically and come up with innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Time and task management: You'll be responsible for managing your time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Extensive self-study and training: You'll be required to complete ongoing training and testing to ensure you're up-to-date with the latest products and services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills: You'll need to be comfortable using a range of software applications and systems.
  • High level of comfort learning new technology: You'll need to be able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles is a plus. Additionally, experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act, is highly valued. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices is also a plus.
