Job Summary

As a Member Experience Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in delivering a fun and meaningful experience to our members and guests every visit. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting members and guests with a smile, eye contact, and courteous tone
  • Creating personal connections with members and guests to ensure a memorable experience
  • Anticipating and responding to member and guest needs by providing clear direction, accurate information, and support through our tools and technology
  • Familiarizing yourself with our membership plans, pricing, amenities, add-on options, and class formats
  • Providing club tours, selling memberships, helping members upgrade, booking personal training consultations, and signing members up for personal training
  • Consistently finding ways to improve the member and guest experience by sharing feedback with leadership and collaborating with your team to implement ideas
  • Executing daily responsibilities to blithequark's high standards, including guest and member check-in processes, daily cleaning, hourly club walks, restocking merchandise, and processing REVIVE sales

Essential Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the fitness industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Familiarity with membership plans, pricing, and amenities
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn our tools and technology
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the fitness industry

  • Knowledge of fitness classes and programs
  • Familiarity with our brand and products
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Certification in personal training or group fitness instruction

Skills and Competencies

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with members and guests
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn our tools and technology
  • Familiarity with membership plans, pricing, and amenities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
