Experienced Safety Analyst – Aviation Risk Management and Compliance

Job Summary

As a Safety Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Safety Management Team in the analysis and reporting of safety data, identifying trends and patterns, and providing recommendations for improvement. You will also assist in the development and implementation of our SMS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This is a full-time remote position, and you will work closely with our team to drive our safety initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

* Analyze and report on safety data, identifying trends and patterns, and providing recommendations for improvement

  • Assist in the development and implementation of our Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Support the Safety Management Team in the analysis and reporting of safety data
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track safety performance and trends
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive safety initiatives forward
  • Provide training and support to employees on safety procedures and protocols
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address safety concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., safety, risk management, data analysis)

  • 2+ years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in the aviation industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain a MSP SIDA identification

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a related field (e.g., safety, risk management, data analysis)

  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in the aviation industry
  • Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Certification in safety or risk management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Risk Manager)
