Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Remote Call Center team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing accurate and complete information, handling customer complaints, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large amounts of incoming calls in a distraction-free workspace
  • Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits
  • Keeping records of customer interactions
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Going the extra mile to engage customers
  • Frequent overtime

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • Track record of achieving expectations
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree

Preferred Qualifications

* 2 years of experience in a call center environment

  • Fluency in Spanish (not required but a useful skill)
  • Experience assisting utility customers (gas or electric) in a call center environment
