Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Remote Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries, providing expert guidance on our P&C insurance products, and delivering a world-class customer experience. This is a 100% remote position, including training, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building strong relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound email, chat, and phone inquiries from customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their P&C insurance needs.
  • Build rapport with customers, reinforcing the value of blithequark's brand and our insurance products, and providing a WOW! experience that exceeds their expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our P&C insurance products and services, staying up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Manage time and resources efficiently to meet sales goals and minimize wait times, ensuring that customers receive prompt and effective support.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer complaints and concerns, providing a seamless and supportive experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Must have a current, active resident Property and Casualty insurance license (General P&C, NOT Personal Lines) in a minimum of 35 states, but preferably all 50 + D.C.
  • Licenses must remain active throughout the duration of the assignment.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in an inbound sales environment.
  • Proven attendance reliability and a flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven sales success within an inbound service environment, preferably a direct sales environment.
  • Insurance industry sales experience, with a deep understanding of P&C insurance products and services.
  • Service industry and/or Contact Center experience, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills, with excellent tracking, follow-up, negotiating, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently overcome objections and close sales, with a strong quality sales mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proven history of adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines, with a strong computer background using MS Word, Excel, and Internet.

Our flexible schedule allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, with a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends. You will be expected to work one weekend a month, with a permanent shift assigned after the initial training period.
