Job Description

We're currently hiring a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist to join our team, working 20-30 hours per week, between 8 am - 8 pm. This is a fully remote, semi-flexible position that offers the perfect blend of flexibility and stability. As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of accounting software, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), and other apps, and to develop your skills and expertise in cloud accounting and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Downloading financial statements and entering transactions into our accounting software
  • Reconciling bank accounts and performing basic financial reviews
  • Working independently to find solutions to problems and sharing your findings with the team
  • Responding promptly to emails and messages from the team
  • Collaborating with the team to achieve our goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to expand your knowledge and skills

Essential Qualifications

  • A strong background in accounting and financial services

  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable:

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and other accounting software
  • A degree in accounting or a related field
  • Certification in accounting or a related field (e.g. CPA, CMA)
  • Experience working in a cloud-based accounting environment
