The Role

As a Data Analyst at blithequark, you'll be an integral part of our High-Level Examination and Content Development team. You'll apply advanced analytical techniques to drive business decisions, identify untapped opportunities, and optimize our content portfolio. Your expertise will help us refine our content release and episode discharge strategy, test marketing systems, and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions

• Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities
• Forecast content engagement to inform acquisition decisions
• Enhance our content release and episode discharge strategy
• Test marketing systems to optimize engagement and retention
• Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
• Provide specialized analytical support to partners to drive business growth
• Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and experience in R or Python
• Experience in data visualization and communication, with a focus on storytelling and presentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to complex problems

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field

• Experience working with large datasets and complex analytical models
