Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. Your duties will include:

  • Handling a high volume of customer inquiries via online chat, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate and complete data entry
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Qualifications

To succeed as a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Availability to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Ability to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred
