About the Role: Remote Customer Service Specialist

As a Remote Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service, and customizing their vacation experiences. You will work closely with our team of travel experts, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless and personalized travel planning. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, plan, and execute travel sales, including airline, car rental, cruises, hotels, tickets/events, and activities
  • Process payments on behalf of clients and provide all necessary documents before and after travel
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to their queries, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Maintain relationships with travel partners and vendors, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and policies
  • Work collaboratively in a group/team setting, contributing to the success of our team and the growth of our business
  • Complete required certification within a timely manner and participate in ongoing training with our company and travel partners

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States
  • Must have a smartphone and/or a computer with reliable internet access
  • Ability to interact, communicate, and negotiate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
  • Ability to make travel and event recommendations based on clients' interests and preferences
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent computer and internet knowledge

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

While not required, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Personal travel experience, with knowledge of various destinations and travel options
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or the travel industry
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a remote team
