Job Summary
As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry/Customer Service (2nd Shift) at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. You'll be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and healthcare partners. A Day in the Life
As a Pharmacy Technician with blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare partners
- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic prescriptions in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

Required Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, we encourage applicants with the following skills and experience to apply:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- PTCB National Certification
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
