Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer leaves our store with a smile on their face
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment that meets the highest standards of quality and safety
• Assisting with the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor
• Independently stocking shelves and recovering merchandise in the store, ensuring that our products are always easily accessible to our customers
• Accurately handling customer funds and processing transactions using our POS system, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and security
• Remaining constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, always prioritizing the well-being and safety of our customers
• Performing all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned
• Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55lbs) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
